Dargaville Hospital is jointly owned by Northland DHB (54%) and the Kaipara Community Health Trust (46%). Kaipara Health Centre incorporates Dargaville Hospital and the Dargaville Medical Centre, as well as the Iwi (tribe) provider, Te Ha O Te Oranga.

The hospital has a 12 bed general ward and a four bed maternity ward with all the supporting services and also provides a substantial community health service.

• Visiting consultants from Whangarei Hospital provide specialty medical and surgical services
