Community Pharmacy Contracting Policy

From 1 July 2019, Northland District Health Board’s (DHB) moratorium on applications for new Integrated Community Pharmacy Services Agreements (ICPSA) in Northland is no longer in force. 

The Community Pharmacy Contracting Policy came into effect on 1 July 2019. It specifies how and under which conditions Northland DHB will purchase new community pharmacy services. 

This policy intends to ensure community pharmacies provide high quality, accessible services that maximise patient outcomes and reduce health inequities. 

All applications for new ICPSA must be made on the Northland DHB application form. Applications will be considered under the Community Pharmacy Contracting Policy.
