BNZ Community Wall

The BNZ Community Wall was part of the Project Promise fundraising programme that was managed on behalf of Northland DHB by Northland Community Foundation.

Project Promise galvanised Northland to raise $3m in three years to build the Centre.

More than 300 bricks were sold during the campaign raising more than $300,000 towards the Centre.

In September 2018 the wall had a facelift thanks to the generosity from Dulux NZ through Mana Mackie and Glenn Baker and the team from Programmed Property who painted the wall over a weekend. 

Radiation Oncology Building

A new Radiation Oncology Building is being built next door to the Jim Carney Cancer Treatment Centre and is expected to be opened in early 2026.  

The BNZ Community Wall donors will be recognised with a public sculpture.
