Timatanga Hou / Detoxification Service

This is Te Whatu Ora Te Tai Tokerau's regional detoxification service.

Timatanga Hou is a short stay eight-bed unit supporting people going through detox/withdrawal from substances of addiction.

All admissions are planned and booked in. This is not an acute admissions unit.

Access to this service is by referral from a health professional directly to the service.

This is an inpatient service. Clients may have visitors, but this is pre-arranged with staff and the client.
