Kaitaia Theatres / Central Sterilizing Unit / Endoscopy / Day Stay Unit

This department provides elective surgery and endoscopy procedures predominately to people of the Far North and Northland.

The Theatre department compromises of two theatres with eight-day surgery beds and three recovery beds.

The Endoscopy Unit has one endoscopy procedure theatre and a four-bed endoscopy day stay unit.

Patients are referred by GP’s and Specialist Consultants throughout the Northland District.
