Te Whatu Ora welcomes overseas applicants and invites any queries you may have regarding your registration.

For occupational groups that require registrations in New Zealand you are firstly required to be registered with the appropriate registration board and secondly to hold a current practising certificate.

Immigration Process

If you are not a New Zealand or Australian citizen or resident, you will need to obtain a work or resident visa.

We recommend that you begin this process immediately.
