Radiology

The Radiology Department at Dargaville Hospital provides both x–ray and ultrasound services.

The team consists of a medical imaging technologist (MIT) who performs the x-rays and a sonographer who performs the ultrasound scans. The x-rays are reported by radiologists based at Whangārei Hospital, and the results are sent out electronically to the referring doctor.

Your GP or hospital specialist will refer you for your x-ray or ultrasound scan.

X-Rays

Monday to Friday - 9.00 am to 3.00 pm.

Walk-in service with referral.

Ultrasound

Mondays only by appointment.
